Recording for ‘Murmurations’ by Ella McSweeney

I was asked to make some recordings and a spoken contribution for a programme on starling murmurations made by Ella McSweeney for New Year's Day 2023 on RTÉ Radio 1.

Later that year, ‘Murmurations’ won Gold at the 2023 IMRO Awards.

Ella’s wintery, transportive programme features artist Vincent Sheridan, farmers Enda Maguire and Padraig Corcoran, and recordings by Seán Ronayne of Irish Wildlife Sounds, as well as the work of Doireann Ní Ghríofa, Dermot Healy and Padraig Stevens.
